will have a look over the weekend. if you want the chassis number there should be a manufacturers plate on the front LH chassis which should read 'made for muir-hill ltd by S & E strood, rochester kent. these were muir-hill before being took over by winget in 1967. mine was red too, build numbe...

have a look at my restored model 2s. photos are on here look under posts by todd5. lol cheers john! after searching for your pics, turns out there the ones i used originally to identify mine as a winget! have you got the plate on the rocker box top on yours? if you have, can you tell me what it say...

well, 37 views and no comments! over at landyzone it would be half full of irrelevant drivel by now! anyway, sent an email to winget ltd after a fair bit of googling, comparing pictures and discovering winget are still in business. (never even heard of winget!) so, the reply that came back this morn...

received this after an email to winget ltd. Hello Neil, What you have is an old Winget 2S Diesel Dumper, its not particularly rare but yours is possibly in better condition than most we see. Unfortunately I can't date it for you but they where in service from the late 1960's until the very late 1970...
