A question from the other side of the world and sorry but it is off topic Is UK out of EU as of yesterday or does act's of Parliament have to be changed first and if so is there any time frame ??? Paul Prime minister will have to sign article 50 of the EU Treaty In force since 2009 but never tested...

The side step was not as long as the one in your photo William, more like the one in the ebay photo.

The variations in these 1967 diggers is incredible Back in the mid seventies i was working for a groundwork contractor on a near by housing estate, i had two machines to play with, one was a MF 244, with no backhoe, the other was a H reg 3Dmk2, it had the large extended wheel housing of a mk1, mk2 ...

Great find William, :claphands: .. i am thinking that the boom could be an experimental boom, sort of a transition boom, reason why i say this is because the boom looks stumpy, and the plating does not cover the dipper ram, if you know what i mean. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpi...
