SHE HAS BROKEN MY DIGGER WORLD!
NOTE: If you have no sense of humour...do not read any further. I have no wish to offend. She has finally done it! She has broken into my digger world and engineering world. The mad woman shown below who I have previously pointed out has PSAS (Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome) and has such a brill...

Does anybody know the proper name for these things. Have tried searching ebay etc for all sorts of variations on the word "clips" with no luck.

Re: Safely working on 3C II engine question
My thoughts were (as I have the gear to do it, was to split some scaffold down its length and weld a couple of flanges down its length. I could the drop pins through. That way the ram would effectively be encased in scaffold tube and just to be extra certain.....make two. Too many things go wrong fo...

Re: Safely working on 3C II engine question
Brilliant, just didn't want to steam ahead blindly.
Have dozens of lengths of scaffold pole and fittings si fairly sure I can make something safe now I know it's an accepted way of doing things.
Up until now, my 100% safe way has been to make "Mrs C do it".........

Safely working on 3C II engine question
Hi. I may have missed this in the manuals and searching the forum but is there a SAFE way of working on the engine with the shovel arms up and out of the way. If there is, it would make my next few jobs a lot easier and save me poking my arms between things. PS. I managed to use it for two hours tod...

Lift pump trials
Well. Got the lift pump off (3C II) and used a service kit to hopefully improve my random "fuel starvation" problems. Went all shades of purple trying to get the bolt threads to catch to get it re-attached to the engine block. At one stage, my face matched the colour of my skinned knuckles...

Went to put some parts back in the JCB 3C and it was totally different!
Though it's usable, I decided to put the dashboard back on and found I didn't have a JCB 3C but a CAT-A-PILLA
It actually stays in the cab practically all the time. whatever I'm doing with the digger.

Re: Pigging fuel sender
Haven't confessed to all. There is still a) Having the front bucket up high and pushing into the side of the roof of the horsebox b) Lifting the front corner of one of the stable blocks because I forgot I had the forklift prongs out c) Taking out 2 OTHER gateposts d) Turning one paddock into a repli...

Re: Pigging fuel sender
Damn, bugger and all sort of words far worse than that........ I have certified myself today as IDIOT Grade 1 With bar and flying colours. After weeks - I found it. I have crawled under, over, in and out of the damn thing trying to find the elusive Green/black wire. Well it wasn't there but staring ...
