hi guys, changing the gearbox oil again as i think its lost a bit over time which has resulted in it being reluctant to go in or out of gear, I've drained the gearbox only this time and only 9 litres has come out, combined converter and gearbox is 15l i think, what do we think the gearbox alone shou...

Frozen rad, tried turning over! :(

Will it be buggered when it thaws :( Early morning and wasn’t paying attention, 2 or 3 seconds trying to crank, cranked but only just about turned and probably only 1 stroke of piston, think my loosish belt meant it was slipping at water pump which might have prevented damage, maybe? Smoke cane off ...

sorry, should have said, i live in france and my language skills aren't quite good enough yet to discuss something so particular so need to do my recon work online and give part numbers, guess i could ring a job dealer in uk but don't feel right about using them and not giving them the £

Dipper Ram seal - 89 3cx

Hi guys, got a seal gone on the dipper ram, have read up a bit on replacing and found the 'beware the gudgeon pin' pointer. question is; were there many variations over the years for this ram? trying to locate the part number for my particular machine and having difficulties so was kinda hoping that...

its always had a bit of contamination, uses a bit of water but not allot, been like that for the last two years and its water use hasn't changed. I only ever run her at tickover to do everything but today i was doing short bursts of full throttle traveling back n forth, i'm thinking working her this...

sprung a water leak today, wasn't overheating, running fine before hand then water started peeing out the front of the engine, immediate thought was a hose, but no, there seems to be a hole in the engine block and the water is coming from there, don't think its a blown hole as its got a machined sha...

was as i thought, splines gone on the coupling, you have to take the whole steering pod apart to get the column out so you can get to the coupling, not an easy one but at least its not the pump, the female side of the spline within pump seem ok, do they manufacture the male part softer so that it go...
