Photographed this last year at Nortons in Liverpool. I would like to know how it got that high on the pile of scrap! :?

Looks like a modern machine. I'd hate to know that the tracks look like, does the driver track back down at the end of the day or does he scramble down the scrap. Sweet picture.

I wouldn't like to climb down the pile of scrap :shock:
I'll find out next week, due there to photograph 2 new Liebherr R984 high rise weighing in at 220t :o

This is how they climb up. The pile of scrap is about 30 mtr high and the driver track back down for pause and at the end of the day.

Hi Adrie,
I did think that, but no sign of a ramp. I know how they move them from dock to dock at Liverpool, including the 2 new high rise 984C's, but that would be telling 8-) Wait for Earthmovers in a month or so........... :thumbs_up:
