Who's tracks are those? Looks like a stocks aftermarket kit. Do NH not do a tracked option like Claas?

Nice shiny new machine like that wouldn't quite look right with duals!!, almost a bit old fashioned, plus you always have the problem of clambering up into the cab.
We had a MF 31 XP with duals on the front and flotation terra tires on the back, trouble then was it reduced ground pressure that much it wouldn't grip on even a modest slope. Still had to be recovered on more than 1 occasion, Worst time she went down to the point that the header was resting on the ground even though it was lifted to full height. Took us a day with a digger and 2 tractors to pull her out, in the end by removing the hedge and pulling from the next field, was the closest dry ground we could find, shame it was before the days of camera phones, would have made some cracking pics!! Needless to say, gave up growing corn shortly afterwards, think the ground was trying to tell us something!!

Hi, The tracks are Italian, a company called AMFIBIOUS TIDUE, theyhave been building track units for different applications. If we go back to the 1500 series combines eg 1545 there was an option for tracks,though steel units.Ican remember visiting a farmer in France using a 1550 on tracks. Tracks on combines are nothing new.
The current tracks can be swapped to the customers next new machine, not an option on Class. When the customer trades this machine in we could refit wheels,though we would have to change gearing in the reduction boxes.

steel tracks on a combine, crikey! Units are more of an investment then if they can be swapped over, aslong as they wear well, cant imagine they'll do that many hours though. Yeah realised class was factory fitted design, the state our local contractors are in though i expect he'll be glad of a new set when he changes the machine, if not before!

with corn at £70 a tonne can't see too many new combines going out this year

Think its gonna need more than lifters to salvage alot of it up here too, good year to buy a crimper i feel!!!

They are rubber, not steel. Similar construction to Agco Challengers & Case Quadtracks, so they should be good for few years on a combine
