Some very interesting machines in that line up Brian. :D

The second one looks like an Italian Hydromac

I also like the small Case-Poclain :? ....there is one of those in the village where I live but as yet I have not been able to get any photos of it

Really great photos Brian  :D
What model/weight is the Case Poclain midi? Also is it just me, or is it a badged Macmoter excavator?

I've been away and had a nose in The Amazing Story of Excavators Vol.1. by Peter Grimshaw and answered my own question as it were!
Case Poclain from 1989 to the mid 90's Case offered the 7t 488 model, built by Macmoter and badged as Case Poclain.
Macmoter excavators have also been badged as O&K and Fiat-Hitachi, but before they all came together in CNH!

Hi and thank you for the interest shown.Did Macmoter market their equipment directly? I have'nt seen any.Is the 488 a 7 ton or 9 ton machine? btw this little case is now more Poclain than it used to be as a 61's cab has been drafted onto it, photos to follow. The O&k machines are RH 6 models =16 tons

Macmoter do sell their equipment under their own name, but they seem to have only a small presence in markets outside their native Italy, with a long history of their excavators being sold by other companies in different countries.
Products include compact excavators, skid steer laoders, compact bulldozers and crawler loader:

Case have sold Kubota mini excavators as the 'CK' range until Case bought Fermec and gained the Kobelco derived mini's built by Fermec which were badged by Case.
Case badged Fermec's equivalent to JCB's 4CX as a Case, though I've forgotten the model numbers.
Case used to sell Ingersoll-Rand telescopic handlers in the USA under the Case name.
Case ADT's are sourced from fellow Fiat company ASTRA who are part of Iveco, for a short while Case sold ASTRA offered rigid dumptrucks from ASTRA under the Case name.
More recently Case have been selling STA and possibly Ingersoll-Rand rollers under the Case name in the USA.
The current Case product line as i'm sure your probably aware has crawler excavators from Sumitomo ,minis from New Holland Kobelco, ADT's from ASTRA, the 30 tonne 1221E wheel loader from Hyundai.
Case's telehandlers, wheeled excavators, bulldozers, graders, and compact wheel loaders seem to be the same as New Holland's with Case's European backhoe loaders containing New Holland components.
