Just to add to the list there were also a few Samsung based machines up here at one time, and of course Peter Grimshaw had/has an Akerman based unit at the VET.

All the pics are in the UK, the ones in the yard were up at Glasgow on a rare sunny day!

CPL also run a couple o Komatsupillar coal shovels....

the coal shovel was availiable as a factory spec up untill the change from 325D to 329D.
Run one Kocureck conversion....... its ok i supose, all others are factory order units, with buckets made in house by our welders.

The buckets look very similar to the Bofors type, we used to have lots of them fitted to 932 and 942 Liebherrs years ago,(Amec and Keir Mining and a few others) I believe Bofors used to make the sticks as well.dont know if Bofors is defunct now.

As IBH said these shovels are very common. Other models I've seen are Akerman H7 in Nant Helen and a big seller was the O&K RH9. Can someone tell me how wide the bucket is thanks.

I thought Kocurek made the booms for the cat's. At the time of the visit 3 years ago they have these booms in production.
